  1. `Better Than That' is an album borne on wings of strong musical support and clean production, particularly in the backing vocals that sounded surprisingly well processed. It's a variant of a now common format that should hold one's attention for a while. There's enough here to anticipate the Singletons live. Not classic but recommended/5(7).

  2. Apr 18,  · The album is done by the singletons not Fred Hammond and the singletons. It sounds like he is trying to make them his next Radical For Christ. There are many wonderful singers in the group for him to be singing like he did. Other than that the album is real good. It would have been nice if they had a broader selection like they did on the first /5(7).

  3. Better Than That CD music This CD made me want to get up and dance and worship God all at the same time. The upbeat "Worthy to be Praised" and the psalm like "For Me" are just two of the songs with sick beats and amazing vocals. I was eager to continue listening after hearing the first and I was not dissapointed.

So while Gospel radio will likely jump on some of the more commercial upbeat tunes such as "Dance In The Spirit," and "Give Him the Praise" (with Kirk Franklin), the disc's real high points are more hidden: "Nobody Like.
